Riley Pope & Laney is focused on providing services in the areas of government relations, creditor default services, real estate transactions and litigation, insurance casualty defense and coverage litigation, products liability litigation, construction litigation, and commercial transactions.  In all of our practice areas, our goal is to provide our clients with the prompt analysis, advice and advocacy needed to achieve their goals.

Formed in 2001, with a desire to provide exceptional services in a more personal environment, our attorneys have a breadth of knowledge and experience in handling complex legislative and legal matters which are traditionally offered by much larger firms.  Prior to joining the firm, each of our attorneys developed successful practices in a variety of legal environments, which ranged from large firms, to corporate in-house counsel, to legal counsel for governmental entities.  Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, large financial institutions, government agencies, municipalities, local businesses and individuals.

Riley Pope and Laney is an AV rated firm by Martindale-Hubbell.  With a statewide practice, our attorneys are licensed to appear in all state and federal courts in South Carolina, the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.
