Services Offered:

Our Firm is a cradle to grave vendor for contested as well as uncontested matters. The services we perform for our clients range from the drafting of default letters to the acquisition of collateral. We accept foreclosure and bankruptcy files from across the state of South Carolina. We file Replevin Actions (Claim and Delivery actions involving secured debt) and law suits on Notes to recover under unsecured transactions. Our Firm handles each lawsuit to its completion. We then provide eviction, full REO services, as well as any supplemental proceedings to obtain collateral. We are licensed title insurance agents for the following four national underwriters: First American, Fidelity, Investors, and Old Republic.

Weekly Status Reports:

Our law firm provides weekly status reports for a number of clients. Each report is customized to meet the client's needs. We work directly with our clients to devise each report.

Timeline of Actions:

Default Letters = 1 to 3 days

Replevin Action (Claim and Delivery) (secured transactions)-
Complaint thru Service = 3 to 35 days (publication) (average of 15 days)
Service thru Default = 35 days
Order of Default = 5 to 15 days after default
Hearing (if necessary) = 45 to 60 days after Answer (at the mercy of the Court)
(Matters less than $7500 can be filed in Magistrate's Court thus saving time and money)

Suit on Notes (unsecured transactions)-
Complaint thru Service = 3 to 35 days (publication) (average of 15 days)
Service thru Default = 35 days

Billing:

Our Firm is able to accommodate the billing requirements of our clients. Our flat rate billing arrangements enable clients to anticipate legal fees for each file. Hourly legal rates are sometimes necessary for contested matters and more complex issues. Our Firm ensures clients are well advised in advance of any legal fee issues.
